Accessible Seating
Cabarrus Arena recognizes the needs of guests with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Convenient wheelchair access to the Arena is available on the Lobby Level at the mezzanine on the South side of the main entrance. Accessible ticket windows are located on the Ticket Tower in front of the Arena main entrance. It is recommended that if accessible seats are required that you purchase your tickets in advance so that we can accommodate you and your party. There is wheelchair accessible seating on all sides and on each level of the arena.

AED Locations
The Cabarrus Arena has automated external defibrillator (AED) devices conveniently located in the lobby of the Cabarrus Arena and in the lobby of the Cabarrus Rooms. Each senior member of the Cabarrus Arena staff has is trained and certified to use this equipment in the event of an emergency.
Alcoholic Beverage Policy
North Carolina state law prohibits the sale of alcohol to those under 21. Guests will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages. We ask you to please drink responsibly, and we encourage the use of a designated driver.
Only animals assisting disabled guests and those with current certification papers will be permitted inside any Facility buildings.

For your convenience, 2 ATM machines are available on the Cabarrus Arena property. One inside the Arena lobby and the second inside the entrance to the Event Center.

Baby Changing Stations
Baby Changing Stations are located in all restrooms throughout the entire arena facility.
Banners & Signs
Banners and signs are permitted providing they are in good taste, as deemed by facility management. Signs must not utilize wood, metal or other types of objects for support. They must not be hung or fastened anywhere in the facility or in any way that obstructs another guest's view or signage.
There are a variety of points of purchase for the purchase of alcoholic beverages located in the Facility. Primary sales centers are located in the main arena lobby concession stands. From time to time, additional portable points of purchase are opened throughout the arena facility as needed for certain events. Private bars are also available during our catered events. Box Office
The box office is open Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM, with extended hours on event days. The box office windows will generally remain open for one hour after an event has started. Ticket information / Will Call is located at the main entrance. Tickets may be purchased with cash, American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa at the box office or by calling TicketMaster at 1.800.745.3000. Tickets are available on the Internet at Please note that once tickets are purchased, they are nonrefundable and not exchangeable.

Cabarrus Arena
Cabarrus Arena has a 28,800 square-foot floor and seats 5,000 for concerts and family shows and 3,500 for basketball and football events. The Center provides 2,500 on-site parking spaces, including more handicap parking spaces than is required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Cabarrus County Fair
The Cabarrus County Fair is held in September and traditionally opens on the Friday following Labor Day and is open 9 days. Our 11-acre midway plays home to the rides, games and food vendors. Gold Hall houses the exhibitors and entries. The Event Center occasionally plays home to a small entertainment stage, community service displays and our very popular livestock barn. Cabarrus Rooms
The Cabarrus Rooms are the banquet rooms at the Cabarrus Arena. Cabarrus Room A is 2,400 square feet, Cabarrus Room B is 1,200 square feet and Cabarrus Room C is also 1,200 square feet. All totaled, we have 4,800 square feet (and portions thereof) that beautifully suit wedding receptions, business meetings, seminars and many other social and corporate events.
Camera usage policies will vary. In no way may the taking of photography block access ways or seat aisles or interfere with other guests' enjoyment of the event. Please call 704.920.3976 in advance to verify the specific policy for each event.

Charity and Fund-Raising Involvement
As an active community participant, the Cabarrus Arena is dedicated to assisting community organizations that focus on charitable or educational programs in Cabarrus County and throughout the state of North Carolina. The Cabarrus Arena loves to work with charitable organizations to assist in their fund-raising efforts. The Cabarrus Arena has contributed in excess of $54,000 in the past 24 months to Girl and Boy Scout Troops, High School Booster Clubs and Church Groups, to name a few. Charity Tickets
In most cases, the Cabarrus Arena is not the promoter of the shows and events that play here. Therefore, we likely will not have the authority to contribute any tickets. It's not our show and the tickets do not belong to us. Any requests for tickets for charitable organizations must follow donation guidelines. All requests must be made in writing on event or organization letterhead 4 - 6 weeks prior to the event date. We will happily forward your request to the promoter of the show and/or the event. Requests for employee incentive programs (i.e. United Way campaign fund-raising, employee appreciation, etc.) are not typically granted.
Child Admission Policy
Ticketing will vary from show to show and the event promoter will set their own ticketing policy. However, for Concert events, typically children, who have celebrated their second birthday, must have a valid admission ticket for entry for most shows. Children not yet reaching their 2nd birthday will usually be granted complimentary admission but must sit on the lap of their parent or guardian. Companion/Service Animals

There are two concession stands in the main lobby of the arena that include a wide selection of items on the menu. Guests also have an opportunity to enjoy concession stands in the Event Center when events are open in that location. Sorry; no credit cards are accepted at this time.
Container Policy
Beverages in cans, glass or plastic beverage containers, squeeze bottles and/or thermos bottles are not permitted in the Facility. No alcoholic beverages may be brought into the arena.
Members of our Cabarrus Arena Insider Club regularly enjoy contests for discounts and free tickets to upcoming shows held at our facility. Our members are the first to know when a concert is going on sale and they are given the chance to purchase tickets before going on sale to the general public. Fan courtesy is an important element of enjoyment at Cabarrus Arena. Improper conduct (including profane or abusive language and throwing objects) may result in ejection from the facility. Repeated offenses could result in the loss of ticket privileges.

Disabled Guests
Cabarrus Arena recognizes the needs of guests with disabilities, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990. Cabarrus Arena continues to make every effort to comply with State and Federal accessibility regulations and accommodate guests with disabilities. Groups of 20 or more may purchase tickets at a discount. Call 704.920.3976 for more information or visit our Group Tickets page. From time to time, show promoters will offer discounts on individual tickets. To find out about any specials applying to a particular event, join the Cabarrus Arena Insider Club as our members are generally the benefactors of these discount ticket specials.
Doors Open
The arena doors usually open 60 - 90 minutes prior to the scheduled event time. This may vary depending on the particular event. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to avoid delays. Please call 704.920.3976 to verify the exact "door time" for a particular event.

Our elevator, located on the Southeastern side of the arena between sections 211 and 311, service disabled guests attending events at the Cabarrus Arena. Disabled guests are given priority to use this elevator.
Emergency Evacuation
Designated Facility ushers and other personnel have been trained in proper procedures for emergency preparedness. These designated staff members will have the primary duty of assisting guests with disabilities to specific locations.

Event Center A & B
Event Center A & B measure independently (A) 40,000 square feet and (B) 30,000 square feet. Opened up, it offers 70,000 square feet with ramp access into the arena, if desired, for an additional square footage of 28,800 square feet. The Event Center offers spacious ceiling heights, a three-bay loading dock and seven (7) roll up doors large enough to accommodate a tractor/trailer truck. This room is perfect for any number of events, trade shows, consumer shows, small sports competitions, small concerts, corporate meetings, banquets and so much more.

Exhibitors / Vendors
Since most of the events that come to our facility are produced by an outside promoting company or organization, we at the arena are not involved in securing vendors or exhibitors for these shows. If you are interested in participating as a vendor or exhibitor in an upcoming event or show, please contact the promoting company directly. They will provide you with the information you require. You can find contact information for most promoters in the show information found on our Event Calendar.

Fan Conduct
Cabarrus Arena intends to provide a safe, comfortable and fan-friendly atmosphere for all our guests. Consequently, facility management won't tolerate disruptive or unruly behavior. The following rules have been established for unacceptable fan behavior:
Guests wearing obscene or indecent clothing will not be permitted to enter.
Guests interfering with the ability of others to enjoy the event will be ejected.
Guests using foul or abusive language or gestures will be ejected.
Guests appearing intoxicated will be ejected and turned over to the Cabarrus County Sheriff's Department.
Guests interfering with the progress of an event will be ejected from the facility and subject to possible arrest.
To enforce these policies, security is located throughout the facility during all events. Guests violating any of these rules will not be welcome at Cabarrus Arena. Those who observe other guests violating these policies should report the incident to the nearest facility representative.
First Aid
First Aid Stations offer medical assistance and are located in the Arena Atrium Lobby and in the Gold Hall Lobby.
Food & Beverage
Food or beverages of any kind (alcoholic included) are not permitted to be brought into the facility. Concession stands, located throughout the facility, sell various types of food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. North Carolina law prohibits the sale of alcohol to all persons under the age of 21. Guests will be required to show proper identification when purchasing alcoholic beverages. Functions & Function Rooms
Private function areas are most regularly located in the Cabarrus Rooms, in Gold Hall and in Event Center B. They are available to serve groups ranging from 30 to 1,000 people. Gold Halls 1 & 2
Gold Halls 1 & 2 are among our most popular rooms on property. Gold Hall 1 boasts 20,000 square feet and Gold Hall 2 has 10,000 square feet. Both have spacious ceiling heights and 10' x 10' roll up doors. These rooms accommodate a range of events such as corporate meetings, banquets, trade and consumer shows and small concerts. The flexibility of Gold Halls 1 & 2 is increased by a flexible lobby which can also be used as part of the facility space.

The distribution of promotional items, handbills, flyers, pamphlets, printed materials, as well as the solicitation of signatures, is not permitted on Cabarrus Arena property without written authorization from facility management. Our first amendment policy is available upon request.

Lost & Found
Lost and found may be claimed at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center on the Lobby Level on event days at our Guest Services desk or call 704.920.3976 to arrange for pick-up of any items. Items left more than 30 days will be donated to charity.

Guests looking for their lost child should report directly to the nearest facility representative for assistance.

Package / Purse Inspection
Anyone entering the facility with a package or purse may be asked to consent to a visual inspection. Guests not allowing inspection of their packages will be refused entry.
Vehicles will be allowed to access facility 60 - 90 minutes prior to the scheduled start of an event. The Cabarrus Arena has more handicap parking spaces than the Americans with Disabilities Act requires for our facility. However, we suggest that should parking be an issue for you or for your guest/s, please arrive early. Guests requiring additional assistance can be dropped off in front of the Arena and the driver can then return after parking.

Parking fees are generally $5.00 per vehicle requiring only 1 parking space. Additional fees may apply to park larger vehicles and vehicles requiring more than 1 parking spot such as passenger vans and buses for some events. The Cabarrus Arena and Events Center retains the right to charge for parking for each event held on our property. However, special arrangements for "hosted parking" (the show promoter has covered the parking fees for his/her particular show or event) are sometimes in place for some shows. Pets aren’t permitted in the Cabarrus Arena. Only service animals or those directly involved with a particular event (i.e. guide/service animals for persons with disabilities) are permitted, but must remain on a leash or harness.

In keeping with Cabarrus County recycling Policy, Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is also helping to minimize the waste materials generated at the various events by placing receptacles in prominent areas. Please help us by placing your recyclable containers in the proper receptacles. More information about Recycle Cabarrus.
Guests who enter Cabarrus Arena may not leave the facility and re-enter. A full, uniform ticket must be presented to enter the facility.

Rent The Facility

The Cabarrus Arena offers 140 public restrooms throughout the facility. All restrooms are accessible and equipped with baby changing stations. Companion and family restrooms are located in the Arena Lobby and inside Gold Hall.

Guests may not re-sell tickets at any price on Cabarrus Arena property. To avoid problems with counterfeit, stolen, void, or other invalid tickets, tickets should only be purchased from an authorized TicketMaster outlet or from the Cabarrus Arena box office.
Seating Assistance
If you need assistance finding your seat, someone is sitting in your seat or there is confusion regarding a seat, please contact the nearest usher or staff member.
Increased security measures at Cabarrus Arena that will be implemented for the 2008-09 season. Among the measures that will be in place at Cabarrus Arena:

Smoking Policy
Based upon the North Carolina Clean Indoor Air Act, smoking is not allowed in any public area. Guests wishing to smoke may do so outside at a designated smoking area 50ft away from buildings.

Ticket Sales / Ticket Information
The box office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with extended hours on event days. The box office windows in the Ticket Tower will generally remain open for one hour after an event has started. The location of the Ticket information/Will Call station may vary by event but is usually located in front of the Arena via a specially marked door. From time to time, the Sheriff's tower is temporarily converted for this purpose. For exact location of a particular event or show, please contact the box office at 704.920.3976. Video Cameras
The use of movie cameras and video or audio recording equipment is strictly prohibited by event promoters. Cabarrus Arena reserves the right to confiscate any tape, film or equipment.
VIP Suites
Be a suite holder for a night! Cabarrus Arena offers six (6) VIP Suites that may be rented on an event-by-event basis to entertain clients, business associates, family or friends. Each of the suites can accommodate 12 guests. Tickets, parking and limited catering service are also included. To reserve a VIP Suite, please call 704.920.3988.

Wheelchair Service
The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center offers wheelchair service for guests who may need assistance to and from their seats. Please contact a Guest Relations representative for assistance. Wheelchair assistance is provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to the limited number of wheelchairs available, they may not be borrowed or rented as seating during the event. If wheelchair assistance becomes necessary during an event, please notify the nearest staff member.
Will Call
Prepaid reservations and other tickets can be picked up at the Will Call window on the day of the event, from 60 to 90 minutes before the start of the event. The specific time is dependent upon the specific event. A photo ID is required to pick up tickets.
