Guest Guidelines

Venue Policies Guests Should Know

Alcoholic Beverage Policy

Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought onto the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex. However, Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is able to sell alcohol at concession stands and provide bar service for most events.

North Carolina state law prohibits the sale of alcohol to those under 21. Guests will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages. We ask you to please drink responsibly and encourage the use of a designated driver.


Balloons

Helium-filled balloons are not allowed inside Cabarrus Arena & Events Center buildings.

Banners & Signs

Banners, signs, and posters are not allowed during most events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

Bringing Your Own Food

Guests are not allowed to bring their own food and drinks inside Cabarrus Arena & Events Center buildings. Tailgating is not allowed in the parking lots except in designated camping spaces.

Camping

Cabarrus Arena & Events Center has 40 camping spaces with water, sewer, and electrical service available for some events. Tent camping is not allowed. Contact the Cabarrus Arena office at 704.920.3976 for additional information and availability.

Child Admission Policy

Each event has different admission policies, but generally children 2 years old and under do not require a ticket. Please refer to the your event's details in our Event Calendar for specific ticketing information.

Drones

Drones are not allowed anywhere on the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex.

Guest Conduct

Guests are expected to respect the rights of others while attending events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Guests engaged in inappropriate or abusive behavior, using verbally abusive or offensive language, performing unsafe actions, and creating disruptions will be removed from the facility.

Items Not Allowed

Backpacks, oversized bags, helium-filled balloons, drones, weapons not specifically allowed by statutes, knives, banners, signs, posters, food, beverages, and cameras capable of producing professionally quality photos and video are not allowed inside the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex.

Pets & Animals

Pets are not allowed at any Cabarrus Arena & Events Center events. Service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcomed.

Photography, Video, and Audio Recording

Each event has different rules regarding photography, video recording, and audio recording. Generally, professional-quality cameras and recording devices are not allowed in the facility.

Refunds

Each event may have a different policy, but guests should assume that there will be no refunds for any purchase.

Scalping & Reselling Tickets

Reselling tickets, regardless of value, is not allowed on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center property.

Security Screening

Guests may be subject to security screening including the use of metal detectors and searches of bags. Guests may be denied entry while in possession of items not allowed by the event.

Service Animals

Service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcomed at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Other animals are not allowed.

Smoking/Tobacco Policy

Tobacco use, smoking, and the use of electronic cigarettes or other "vaping" device is not allowed inside or within 50' of any building at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

Solicitation

Solicitation and distribution of promotional materials is not allowed anywhere on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center grounds unless approved as part of an event.

Tailgating

Tailgating is not allowed at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center except in designated camping spaces.

Weapons

Any object such as knives, razor blades, and box cutters that can reasonably be considered a weapon is not allowed at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center events. Guns not specifically exempted by statutes are not allowed. Concealed carry laws are respected.
