Accessibility/ADA

Cabarrus Arena & Events Center recognizes the needs of guests with disabilities and is fully ADA-compliant. Accessible parking is available near the entrance of each building, accessible seating is available for all events, and navigating the complex is possible using our elevator and ADA-compliant ramps.

Most events do not offer assisted listening devices or video screens.

Cabarrus Arena & Events Center does not provide wheelchairs or scooters for events.

AED Locations

The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center has automated external defibrillator (AED) devices located near the entry doors of the Event Center and in the lobby of the Cabarrus Arena, Cabarrus Rooms, and Gold Hall. Cabarrus Arena & Event Center staff members are trained to use this equipment.

Alcoholic Beverage Policy

Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought onto the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex. However, Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is able to sell alcohol at concession stands and provide bar service for most events.

North Carolina state law prohibits the sale of alcohol to those under 21. Guests will be required to show proper identification and proof of age when purchasing alcoholic beverages. We ask you to please drink responsibly and encourage the use of a designated driver.

Animals & Pets

Service animals as described by the Americans with Disabilities Act are welcome at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Pets and other animals are not allowed.

ATM

For your convenience, 3 ATM machines are available across the complex. They are located inside the Arena lobby, inside the entrance to the Event Center, and in the lobby of Gold Hall. The transaction fees are typically less than $5.

Baby Changing Stations

Baby changing stations are located in all restrooms throughout the facility.

Banners, Signs, & Posters

Banners, signs, and posters are not allowed during most events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

Box Office

Most events held at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center do not offer advance ticket sales. For those that do, the box office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:30pm in the Cabarrus Room lobby. Cash and credit card payments are accepted.

Ticket sales and will call is located at the entrance of each event.

Some event tickets may be purchased through Ticketmaster.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 1.800.745.3000.

Cabarrus County Fair

The Cabarrus County Fair is held in September and traditionally opens on the Friday following Labor Day and is open 9 days. Our 11-acre midway plays home to the rides, games and food vendors. Gold Hall houses the exhibitors and entries. The Event Center plays home to community service displays and a very popular livestock barn. Catering

All catering is provided exclusively by SAVOR... Cabarrus Arena & Events Center's in-house food and beverage staff. Outside food and beverages of any kind may not be brought into the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

Charity Events & Fundraising

As an active community participant, the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is dedicated to assisting community organizations that focus on charitable or educational programs in our community.

Cabarrus Arena & Event Center offers special rates for groups engaged in charitable causes and community development.

Charity Tickets

In most cases, Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is not the owner of events we host and is not able to support charities by way of providing tickets for use in fundraising. However, we will be glad to forward written donation requests to the owners of our events.


Children's Admission & Tickets

Each event has different admission policies, but generally children 2 years old and under do not require a ticket. Please refer to the your event's details in our Event Calendar for specific ticketing information.

Code of Conduct

Guests are expected to respect the rights of others while attending events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. Guests engaged in inappropriate or abusive behavior, using verbally abusive or offensive language, performing unsafe actions, and creating disruptions will be removed from the facility.

Concessions

Concessions are available at most events from the start of the event until near the time it ends. We tailor our menu to each event and offer unique creations from our chef as well as the traditional hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, pizza, french fries, and candy. Cash and credit cards are accepted at most locations.

Credit Cards

Major credit cards are accepted at many concession stands. Guests should assume that parking fees, ticket purchases, merchandise sales, and purchases from vendors will be cash-only transactions. ATMs are available in each building.

Drones

The possession, operation, or use of an unmanned aircraft system (UAS) or drone is prohibited on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center property without prior, written permission from management. Persons operating a UAS on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center property may be subject to criminal or civil penalties by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Elevator

Our elevator is located in the arena between sections 211 and 311.

Emergency Evacuation

In the event of an emergency, please remain calm and WALK to the nearest exit in an orderly fashion. Follow posted signs and listen to announcements for specific instructions. In some circumstances, you will be directed to remain in the building and staff will direct you where to go. Please do not use the elevators. If you are disabled, trained staff members will assist you in getting to safety.

Exhibitors/Vendors

Most events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center are produced by a third-party promoter. The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is not involved in securing vendors or exhibitors for these shows. If you are interested in participating as a vendor or exhibitor in an upcoming event, please contact the promoting company directly. First Aid

First Aid stations vary for each event. Please contact the nearest Cabarrus Arena & Events Center staff member for first aid assistance.

Lost & Found

Please report a lost item to a Cabarrus Arena & Events Center staff member for assistance. Lost items can often be claimed following an event in the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center business office.

Lost Children and Companions

Lost children and others separated from their party should go or be escorted to the nearest police officer or Cabarrus Arena & Events Center staff member.

Parking

Parking fees for most events at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is $5 a car. Some events will not have a charge to park.

Photography, Video, and Audio Recording

Each event has different rules regarding photography, video recording, and audio recording. Generally, professional-quality cameras and recording devices are not allowed in the facility.

Prohibited Items

Backpacks, bags larger than 6" x 6" x 12", helium-filled balloons, drones, weapons not specifically allowed by statutes, knives, banners, signs, posters, food, beverages, and cameras capable of producing professionally quality photos or video, and animals not recognized as service animals under the ADA are not allowed inside the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex.

Re-Entry

Guest that leave an event may not re-enter.

Refunds

Each event may have a different policy, but guests should assume that there will be no refunds for any purchase.

Restrooms

All restrooms are accessible and equipped with baby changing stations. Companion and family restrooms are located in the Arena lobby and Gold Hall lobby.

Scalping & Reselling Tickets

Reselling tickets, regardless of value, is not allowed on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center property.

Seating Assistance

Please contact the nearest Cabarrus Arena & Events Center staff member if you need assistance finding your seat, someone is sitting in your seat, or there is confusion regarding a seat.

Security Screening

Guests may be subject to security screening including the use of metal detectors and searches of bags. Guests may be denied entry while in possession of items not allowed by the event.

Smoking & Tobacco Use

Tobacco use, smoking, and the use of electronic cigarettes or other "vaping" device is not allowed inside or within 50' of any building at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.

Solicitation

Solicitation and distribution of promotional materials is not allowed anywhere on Cabarrus Arena & Events Center grounds unless approved as part of an event.

Suites

A Executive Suite at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center puts you right in the action, yet maintains a private atmosphere for you and your guests. Use of these suites requires special arrangements to be made in advance of the event. Please contact the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center office at 704.920.3976 to inquire.

Tailgating

Tailgating is not allowed at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center except in designated camping spaces.

The Cabarrus Arena & Events Center allows umbrellas inside the building during inclement weather. We ask that they not be kept in the aisles and not block another patrons view of the show.

Wi-Fi

Public Wi-Fi service is available for purchase in all buildings at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center. The normal charge is $10/day.
