The Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics of North Carolina are excited to announce their upcoming Spring 2020 fundraising concert featuring Love and Theft with opening act The Mikele Buck Band out of Greenville, NC. The concert will benefit fire fighters across the state as they support their communities through numerous programs.
Love and Theft first galvanized fans in 2009 with the Top 10 hit “Runaway.” That breakthrough success set the stage for their debut album World Wide Open, which also produced the hit single “Dancing In Circles.” The pair’s second-nature chemistry led them both to agree that the occasion of their third album called for the bold musical statement that Whiskey On My Breath would ultimately become. Indeed, Whiskey On My Breath makes it apparent how far the duo—who’ve both become husbands and fathers in the six years since they began their recording career—have traveled, and demonstrates that they’re in for the long haul.
The Voice 2018 contestant Mikele Buck hails from Greenville, NC. His original songs are a blent of all his musical influences including Steve Earle, Garth Brooks, and Travis Tritt. After returning from the Iraq war in 2005, Mikele went to Nashville to record his first CD and established his first band. In addition to Mikele, the Mikele Buck Band is comprised of Brandon Ross, Caleb Keen, Olsen Bunn, and Sarah Anderson.
