No, outside food and beverage is not permitted on premises. The only exception is baby formula or medically necessary food items.
Cabarrus Arena & Events Center recognizes the needs of guests with disabilities and is fully ADA-compliant. Accessible parking is available near the entrance of each building, accessible seating is available for all events, and navigating the complex is possible using our elevator and ADA-compliant ramps.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside of the facility. Smoking includes cigars, tabaco, vape pens, and illegal materials. Smoking is also prohibited within 50 feet of each building.
The safety of our guests and staff is of the utmost importance to us at Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.
For Arena events, we have implemented the following policy:
- Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags that do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”.
- One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar)
- Small clutch bags no larger than 4.5” x 6.5” - approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap
- Medically necessary items or diaper bags (requires proper inspection)
This policy will streamline the security process and ensure transparency, allowing for quicker bag checks.
Backpacks, bags larger than 6" x 6" x 12", helium filled balloons, candles, confetti, drones, weapons not specifically allowed by statutes, knives, banners, posters, food & beverages, cameras with detachable lenses, and animals not recognized as service animals under the ADA are not allowed inside Cabarrus Arena & Events Center complex.
