Second Dose Appointment Scheduling
CHA will be opening second dose appointments on Monday, January 18th. Individuals who have already received their first dose were given a 'COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card'. The date on the back of that card is NOT an appointment, it is the first day the patient is eligible to receive their second dose. Please continue to monitor the CHA's COVID-19 vaccination website for clinic dates for patients looking to receive their second dose.

Information about each phase can be found at the Vaccination Details link below. Individuals can also direct questions to CHA's health information telephone line at (704)920-1213 or Email address at healthinfo@cabarrushealth.org.

Cabarrus Arena & Events Center Updates

Concord, NC - Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is open to select events at this time with masks required for all Guests over eleven years of age. This action follows the start of Governor Roy Cooper's Safer at Home Phase Three executive order extension restricting public gatherings and requiring the use of masks in public spaces. Some events may be limited to up to ten Guests inside our event buildings and up to fifty Guests outside. We continue to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and reopening of our local environment.

Providing a safe environment for all of our visitors and staff is our top priority. Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, as part of ASM Global, is proud to be working to introduce new, industry-leading health and safety protocols that will provide trusted protection during the live experience as we begin to reopen and welcome back our Guests. You can read more about this new program, VenueShield, at the website link below. Safety and sanitation procedures included in the VenueShield plan include, but are not limited to:
  • Regular cleaning of high-touch areas such as stair railings, door handles and push plates, purchase devices, and elevator buttons with products recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of facility public spaces and restrooms with CDC recommended products
  • Providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility
  • Increased signage outlining venue guidelines and advisable precautions (i.e., frequent hand washing, safety recommendations, etc.)

Through public health organizations such as the Cabarrus Health Alliance, Center for Disease Control (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO) we are staying informed of the latest updates and developments as they occur. We are also in close communication with local government officials to determine what additional safeguards may need to be implemented.

This is an evolving situation and rest assured any actions we take will be consistent with guidelines from these agencies. Please continue to visit our website to learn of any changes to the event schedule as they become available.
