Concord, NC - Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is open to events at this time with masks required for all Guests over four years of age while indoors and if unable to socially distance outdoors. This is in alignment with Cabarrus County's current mask policy in place for County-owned facilities. We continue to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) and the reopening of our local environment.
Providing a safe environment for all of our visitors and staff is our top priority. Cabarrus Arena & Events Center, as part of ASM Global, is proud to be working to introduce new, industry-leading health and safety protocols that will provide trusted protection during the live experience as we begin to reopen and welcome back our Guests. You can read more about this new program, VenueShield, at the website link below. Safety and sanitation procedures included in the VenueShield plan include, but are not limited to:
- Regular cleaning of high-touch areas such as stair railings, door handles and push plates, purchase devices, and elevator buttons with products recommended by the Center for Disease Control (CDC)
- Regular cleaning and sanitizing of facility public spaces and restrooms with CDC recommended products
- Providing hand sanitizing stations throughout the facility
- Increased signage outlining venue guidelines and advisable precautions (i.e., frequent hand washing, safety recommendations, etc.)
Through public health organizations such as the Cabarrus Health Alliance, Center for Disease Control (CDC), and World Health Organization (WHO) we are staying informed of the latest updates and developments as they occur. We are also in close communication with local government officials to determine what additional safeguards may need to be implemented.
This is an evolving situation and rest assured that any actions we take will be consistent with guidelines from these agencies. Please continue to visit our website to learn of any changes to the event schedule as they become available.
